Annie Lennox
Annie Lennox, born 25th December 1954 in Aberdeen Scotland. Dorothy Farquharson and Thomas Allison Lennox are her parents. Lennox, who studied for three years in the Royal Academy of Music London in the 1970s, was admitted. Lennox survived off the stipend of a student working part-time in order to help supplement her income. While in the Royal Academy Lennox was dissatisfied in her ability compared to her student classmates and contemplated a possible alternative route she could take. Lennox started out as an instrument player within the band Dragons Playground. The group didn't get to compete in the competition for talent New Faces on I.T.V. Between 1977 and 1980, she sang in The Tourists. A British pop band from the UK. The band was where she made friends with Dave Stewart and together they formed The duo Eurythmics. Lennox was working on her own debut album Diva. It was released in 1993. The album was an enormous hit both critically and commercially. Nostalgia Lennoxs 6th solo album was Released on October 31, 2014. The C.D. The C.D. is comprised of Lennox's favourite soul, jazz and blues songs of her youth. Lepidoptera is a collection of four improvised tracks for piano, which Lennox has released in May 2019. The E.P. The E.P. is her debut self-produced album as well as a follow-up to an art installation she made at Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art entitled Now I Let you go... Annie Lennox born December 25 1954, is an Scottish activist, politician and philanthropist. She is also a musician and singer. The Tourists were a new-wave group that had some recognition in the 1970s. Later, Lennox was joined by the band with fellow artist Dave Stewart to form the pop duo Eurythmics. Lennox began her solo musical career in 1992 by releasing her debut album Diva. The album featured a variety of well-known songs, including the hit song Walking On Broken Glass and Why. Medusa, her 1995 album studio features version covers of No MoreI Love Yous and A Whiter Shade of Pale. Six studio albums by her solo and one compilation album, are at her disposal. |
