Luciana Paluzzi
Luciana Paluzzi, an Italian actress, who was a brunette who had a large her body and a large smile, made her a household name following the success of Gina Lollobrigida. In the 1950s, Ms. Paluzzi worked on both sides of the Atlantic in films such as Three Coins in the Fountain and Sea Fury. She was then given the chance to become an American TV star in the role Simone Genet in the 1959 weekly spy show Five Fingers. In 1965, she was approached by the Bond producers to be considered for the role of Domino Derval, the leading female character of Thunderball. While that role eventually went to the former Miss France, Claudine Auger Director Terence Young offered her the character of the villainess Fiona Volpe - one of the very few females on the planet able to resist the attraction of Mr. Fiona Volpe is killed in the midst of a dance floor by Bond's own friends, probably to make her pay for her deeds. James then places her deceased body in front of a table and asks "Do you think it's okay if my partner stays in the house?" It's not her fault. The blockbuster at the box office enabled Luciana Paluzzi to extend her European acting career into the 1970s both in the US as well as Europe and with movies like Captain Nemo And The Underwater City (1969), The Six Million Dollar Man (1973), The Klansman (1974) and The Greek Tycoon
